16 Best Tarot Cards for money readings

There is no denying that questions about money are of particular interest regarding tarot card readings. We all hope to see the most promising money cards in our tarot spread that indicate that wealth is coming our way.

Cards included in the suit of Pentacles, which is also known as “the suit of coins,” are cards that you would prefer to see in a tarot spread in money tarot readings. However, there is no particular tarot card that could be considered the best for these type of readings, but there are many runner ups.

Of course, money is not everything to us, but it’s something essential whether we like it or not. It allows us to have the things that are outside of our basic needs. It helps us to get what we want and achieve what we want. It gives our families and ourselves security and support and allows us to do things that we desire. Therefore it is no surprise that we seek the cards that tell us favorable omens about money in our tarot readings. I have gathered here my personal list of the best tarot cards for cash.

What is the best tarot card for money in a tarot reading?

Suppose you’re hoping to see positive signals for your financial situation. In that case, these are the best tarot cards to get in your tarot spread.

Wheel of Fortune

One of the key representations of this card is that it signals change. So if your financial situation isn’t the strongest at the moment, change looks to be headed your way. The Wheel of Fortune is also an omen of good luck, so you might even see financial windfall if you are lucky.

Be aware that as this card represents change, it is not always a good indicator in matters involving finances. If you are in a situation of wealth, the change might take place in the opposite direction. So if this resonates, just make sure you make the adjustments to prevent this from happening.

The Empress

This tarot card represents the mother archetype of all tarot cards. It is full of maternal influence, which doesn’t always necessarily come in its most traditional form. It can also represent monetary success, like in the birth of a new business. Seeing the empress in a money-related tarot reading can indicate that you will nurture your unique ideas and businesses with motherly compassion and love. Just be aware that the empress is all about creativity. Hence, it encourages you to be creative in your new endeavor. If you keep this in mind and execute success will follow.

The Sun

The sun is all about positivity and success. When it comes to money and finances, success is headed your way when this card appears for you. If you have defined your goals well and work hard towards your objectives, financial success will follow. Even though at the moment things don’t look like it, the wheel of fortune is an omen for better times.

The financial improvement that is represented by the sun doesn’t always mean that it comes from your personal efforts. It can also represent another person in your life that will help you to better economic times. The person might help you directly or support you mentally to achieve success in your business or investment ventures.

The Lovers

This festive card is about passion, opportunity, and renewal. So if you are hoping to have a positive change in your life, look forward to getting this card in your tarot spread. If you have been short with money, this card indicates a positive change coming your way.

This is also a card of mutual attraction, so you may be getting together with someone who shares a common passion and interest, leading to a business partnership. Starting a business is always a challenge, but if you have a chance to work with someone you enjoy, it will be a more comfortable ride.

Ace of Pentacles

All pentacle or coin cards are mainly concerned with worldly things, so they are good omens in financial matters. So let’s start off with the first of them – the ace of pentacles. This card represents economic opportunities and, in some instances, even financial windfalls.

Being an ace card, it is a card of beginnings. So it indicates the starting point for your quest in the search for money. It signals that there are financial opportunities around you, and you need to act on them to collect the fruits. It doesn’t indicate instant gratification as it represents more the potential of success. It is with this card where you lay the seeds for upcoming success. But just like with any seed, it requires nurturing and caregiving for it to grow into something.

Four of Pentacles

Here is another positive pentacle card for the money. The four of Pentacles indicate that you have been wise with money and that you are not the type of person shortsighted in these matters. You have managed to gain an abundance of wealth while thinking about your long term plans.

Although this card mainly comes with positive prospects, there is also a slight danger of overdoing things when this card is on the table. While it is essential to secure your financial situation, there is a danger of overdoing things. So remind yourself to enjoy life as well, not only save money for the future. Otherwise, you may have a risk of never taking a chance to enjoy the finer things in life.

Six of Pentacles

The man dressed in the purple rope on this card is already an indication of wealth. Purple has been historically a color signifying wealth due to the scarcity of sea snails that produced the purple dye. Believe it or not, its expense exceeded even the price of gold. The card image also includes two beggars to whom the wealthy man in purple offers some coins.

The Six of Pentacles is a card that indicates wealth in abundance. So much in fact that you can share it with others without affecting your own financial security. This card can also suggest that you will be on the receiving end. This might help you change your financial situation for the better and put you in a position to help others monetarily. No matter if you are on the receiving or giving side, there is plenty of generosity and prosperity in the air when this card shows up.

Seven of Pentacles

Seven of Pentacles is about hard work and perseverance, which results in long term success. On the card, there is a young man in a garden. He is leaning on to his shovel or rake, and looking at a growing on a vine in front of him. Seven Pentacles are growing on the wine, symbolizing the fruits of his labor. He is enjoying what he sees.

Like many times in life, rewards and results follow hard work. That is the message of this card. This is one of my favorite cards, as it is a reminder to get things done. The gratification that follows after you have put the work in is fantastic.

Nine of Pentacles

The nine of Pentacles depicts a beautiful woman in a garden. Her fancy clothing is a sign of wealth and abundance and higher social status. She has made it financially, so to speak.

This card is definitely an indication of good financial times ahead if it shows up in your tarot spread. It also encourages to indulge the success that has followed hard work. She is in a situation where she can enjoy the fruits of her labor.

This card is also about being independent financially. It is a reminder that you don’t need to rely on others to change your financial situation, but you can do it yourself.

Ten of Pentacles

As we get further up in the pentacle cards, they become more mature. In the beginning, the ace of pentacles indicated only the prospects or opportunities of wealth. Now that we are all the way up on the ten pentacles, the financial wealth is already present.

Once again, this card reminds us that hard work will pay off eventually. If you are willing to put the needed work and hours in, success will follow. On the card image, an old man sits with a look of gratification on his face and looks at his family enjoying their estate. He has done his job, and now it’s time to sit back and enjoy. With his success, he has completed the job and secured life for his family.

Page of Pentacles

The Page of Pentacles is another card about financial opportunities, so this another excellent card for the entrepreneurial type of people. Sometimes I really want to see this card because it is a reminder of determination and the ability to focus on the job.

Just like many of the other pentacles, this card is an excellent omen for money, as long as you are smart with your finances and are willing to work for your goals.

King of Pentacles

Being a king, and especially the King of pentacles, this card gives excellent prospects for financial abundance and reaching your monetary goals. It also comes with leadership like abilities to control your budget and spending.

A good king can pass his fortune from generation to another and see his kingdom bloom. So if you are in a position to give, remember to share and enjoy your wealth.

Six of Wands

This card is about good news, completion, reward, and success. A man surrounded by a chanting crowd is taking a victory lap on a white horse on the card image. He is wearing a wreath that symbolizes victory on his head.

This card indicates that now it is time to celebrate and enjoy the rewards of your labor. A project has been completed with excellent results. The prize follows, and it might come in the form of financial gain or appreciation from others.

King of Wands

Just like any king, this card is an authoritative and stable figure. He is not going to spend his wealth unwisely, and he likes to share with others. This King also holds a blossoming wand in each of his hands, representing passion and creativity. It is a reminder that he can work on his goals harder than anyone as his passion and creativity strive for him.

Once again, I feel that this card is entrepreneurial driven. It reminds me to put my heart as well as my creative side into whatever I am doing. I have learned from experience that whenever I can do just that, I enjoy what I do, and the results are better.

Seven of Cups

This one I decided to include on the list because it represents an abundance of opportunities. There is no shortage of them when this card appears, but you have to act wisely, which one of them to choose and focus on. It calls for managing resources, discipline, and careful evaluation to be a good omen for financial gains.

Nine of Cups

This card is yet another excellent omen for success. If you have dreamt of success, now your dreams have been answered. It is also a card of happiness, prosperity, and abundance, which all signal financial well-being.
